Civilization and food culture are like the flow of water streaming into one person’s life, connecting to a larger tributary —a community—then back to the origin of life. Observing conflicts between food customers and the market, critical design thinking, and methodologies have created a parallel output between formal research and making. 

Collective memory can become the trigger for apprehension. 
If a ruinous situation were to start again in a seemingly peaceful society, the combination of wars, epidemics, 
and warming would turn our food worries into an existential crisis. 

Interactive conversations, personal narratives, interviews, workshops, videos, 
and topography design, I’ve synthesized a kind of experience of food that’s mindful of language and memories.
